“In Sisters We Trust, Or My Fucked Up American Girl Doll Play” by Justine Gelfman has selected for development as part of the 2019/20 cycle of the DVRF Playwrights Program.
We have also chosen our six finalists for the Program, all of whom will be invited to our Round Table Series in the first quarter of 2020.
DVRF would like to thank everyone who submitted work for consideration this cycle. Please stay tuned for updates on this and future play programming.
We have opened to general submissions for the 2019/20 cycle of our Playwrights Program.
One previously-unproduced play will be selected for a 1-2 week intensive development, culminating in an industry staged reading. Our Round Table Series will also return for finalists of the Program.
There is no fee to submit. Deadline for entries is Monday, June 24th at 11:59PM.

DVRF is excited to announce the May 7th industry reading of the 2018/19 Playwrights Program Recipient, DIRTY DIRTY by Amy Gijsbers van Wijk.
The cast features Tina Benko (Nantucket Sleigh Ride), Andrew Durand (Ink), Kyle Beltran (Blue Ridge), Mirirai Sithole (School Girls; Or, The African Mean Girls Play) and Fig Chilcott (La MaMa’s the Last Days of Judas Iscariot), with Sarah Krohn directing.
The reading will be held at DVRF’s loft in the Flatiron District of Manhattan.
