2018/19 Playwrights Program

DVRF is very pleased to announce that "Dirty Dirty" by Amy Gijsbers van Wijk has been chosen for the 2018/19 Playwrights Program. This piece will receive an intensive development, followed by an industry reading in New York City.

Amy Gijsbers van Wijk is a queer, first-generation American playwright originally from Pasadena, Texas, now based in Brooklyn, NY. She has recently been a finalist for PlayPenn, as well as a semi-finalist for Bay Area Playwrights Festival and the O'Neill Conference. Her plays have been developed at The Flea, Dixon Place, Fresh Ground Pepper, Pipeline Theatre Company, The Tank, New Light Theater Project, and elsewhere.

We would also like to recognize our finalists, all of whom will be invited to the Round Table Series in early 2019:
