A Three Year Publishing Project Reviving The Work Of A Great American Writer

DVRF is pleased to announce the Stephen Dixon Project, in collaboration with McSweeney’s and the author’s family.

Stephen Dixon (1936-2019) was an American author, regarded as one of the most original and quietly influential novelists and short story writers of the late 20th century. Despite this, many of his great works have been out of print for years.

In partnering with McSweeney’s, DVRF hopes that this publishing project will bring Stephen Dixon’s groundbreaking career to an even wider audience.
