Thanks again to everyone who submitted to our first annual Emerging Playwrights Contest! We just wanted to share another update on our progress so far.

We have completed the first round of readings and are now selecting finalists, from which the winning script will be drawn. The first round consisted of blind readings and evaluations from qualified readers. Despite the enormous volume of submissions we received (over two times our initial quota), we managed to get a number of plays from the waitlist read and processed.

We are now spending time reviewing each submission in search for a winner. We hope to have made our selection by mid/late June. At that time, we will confirm the details and dates of the reading itself, to take place this summer. Look forward to more news from us soon!
